With a combined total of almost 100 years in our respective areas of expertise, we each bring unique strengths and outlooks and we share a common passion for achieving exceptional results for our clients. Great emphasis is placed on community engagement and training. FRED MASADDE KABUYE has, for the last 16 years, been working in the areas of public relations, sales and corporate social responsibility projects for Shell Uganda and Zain (formerly Celtel) Uganda. He has been involved in setting up new projects and ensuring corporate entities receive sustained and lasting public acceptance by engaging with regulators, law makers and the communities where the organisations operated. While with Shell Uganda, Fred helped set up Living Earth Uganda and worked with them to help set up Community Based Organisations to address the needs of different communities. With Zain Uganda he helped set up a pilot emergency rescue project for Lake Victoria covering Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in addition to establishing educational projects. As an active Rotarian, he has gained invaluable experience at identifying basic community needs and fashioning solutions for them.
PAULO BUKENYA is a Senior Finance, Accounting, Financial Management and Business Development Consultant with 20 years’ work experience. He started his career as a banker where he rose to the office of Chief Accountant before Joining Uganda Management Institute as Senior Consultant Finance and Accounting, where he launched the Post Graduate Diploma, now Master’s Programme in Financial Management a flag ship programme of the Institute, before joining the consulting world. Paulo is a highly competent trainer and process facilitator with vast experience in commercial banking, management training and development, governance and leadership development for private sector, civil society and grass root as well as apex business associations. He is highly skilled in customising modern management applications to organisations and helping them to develop and evaluate growth and sustainability strategies. Over the years, Paulo has helped many organisations in various interventions aimed at improving their staff performance and efficient achievement of results, both in his Financial Management Background and in other areas that support organisational survival and growth. JUDE DAMULIRA has been engaged in community work for the last 10 years with a special emphasis on children. He has helped develop the orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) service providers’ inventory for the Save The Children and participated in developing the capacity building strategy and plan for districts and civil society organizations. He has extensive experience as a trainer of trainers for districts and CSOs staff. He has supported districts to functionalize management information systems, participated in developing service quality standards for OVC intervention, conducted quality assessment of children related interventions Jude worked with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development to build the capacity of districts and civil society organizations to scale up delivery of quality services. GORETTI M. NAGADDYA converted from Uganda’s first female brewer to a marketing and communications expert. Her work has seen her take existing brands to market leadership and nurture new brands and projects to great acceptability and sustenance. She has been in charge of communications in different industries ranging from fast moving consumer goods, environmental conservation education, bookselling industry and finance and banking. Goretti helped rejuvenate the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to turn it into a self sustaining institution. This diversity has allowed her to become an expert in anticipating and satisfying communication needs of diverse publics both social and corporate. MS. FLAVIA MIIRO NAKAYIMA is an HIV specialist with over 9 years experience in HIV and AIDS program design, program implementation, research, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation. She has participated in designing HIV prevention, impact evaluations to inform program implementation and policies at local and international level and is an advocate for HIV drug-trials participants. Ms Nakayima Flavia holds a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She undertook two-year training under the HIV and AIDS fellowship training which provided a foundation for thorough understanding of HIV and AIDS as a development issue. She has strengthened HIV programming in her career path in the area of management and advocacy. Flavia is an adult facilitator in the areas of HIV prevention focusing on youth, Gender Based Violence, HIV/AIDS mainstreaming, OVC programming in relation to both international and national frameworks, program design, monitoring and evaluation. She is commendably skilled in funding proposal writing, research, report writing and designing monitoring data collection tools. SAM MUWANGA is a qualified Engineer with more than 23 years professional experience in Uganda, United Kingdom and Canada in Road Project Management. This experience includes road and bridge condition surveys, traffic studies, construction supervision, infrastructure development programmes planning and management, contract administration, and working with multi-disciplinary teams. Sam has particular experience in managing cross cutting themes like Gender, HIV/AIDS and Environment in the road sector gained while working with DANIDAs Road Sector Programme Support as the Programme Officer. Sam also managed the Socio Economic Development Fund associated with the Kampala Fort Portal Corridor rehabilitation by DANIDA and is currently looking at social economic costs and benefits in roads projects appraisal as a bench mark for achieving the Millennium Development Goals. DR. DAVID KYADDONDO has been practicing in the field of social work and anthropology for almost 20 years. He has special skills in Participatory Research and Training, HIV/AIDS Social Research, Health Systems Research, Program Development, Promotion of Community Management Processes/ Social Development. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (where he is charged with coordination of the Masters Programme and teaching post-graduate and undergraduate students) and an Affiliated Researcher in the Child Health and Development Centre (a Multi-disciplinary Institution fostering National Capacity Building for Child Survival and Development) at Makerere University. He also previously served as Regional Technical Co-ordinator (RTC) of Uganda Nutrition and Early Childhood Development (NECD) project, Western Region with responsibility for developing sub-project implementation framework and strategies and to monitor the implementation of the project, facilitating district institutional capacity building for implementing agencies in the western region. He has been a community mobilization specialist, with Associated consulting Engineers (ACE) where he was responsible for community and social studies for roads and water construction projects and also worked on Social Work Uganda War Widows Foundation, implementing a PAPSCA Project, where he was in charge of mobilization and sensitization for poverty alleviation projects. |
